BC Hydro's heat pump, solar, battery and insulation rebates have no income test. CleanBC's Energy Savings Program is income-qualified: since July 6, 2026 it pays up to $13,000, $7,000 or $3,500 (by income level) to switch from gas, oil or propane to a heat pump, plus $3,000 in northern areas. Income limits depend on household size, so check the current table on Better Homes BC.
