What is open for St. Albert homes in 2026

St. Albert CEIP financing
Financing up to 100% of project cost, repaid on the property tax bill over the lesser of 20 years or the upgrades' useful life. The rate is variable, and the program is at capacity with pre-qualification closed.
CEIP incentive
Applied to the Clean Energy Improvement Tax for each project, with a minimum project of $3,000.
Utility rebates

The rate is variable and was set at 1.62% with a maximum of 3% in the figures we read. The $1,400 incentive applies per project, and the project must be at least $3,000.
At capacity
Pre-qualification is closed. People already in the queue are handled first come, first served. If you plan a project, ask the City when the next intake is expected and get quotes ready, because an incentive that is already spent does not come back.
