PPL Electric Rebates 2026: What They Pay and How to Apply

Short answer: PPL Electric pays $225 or $325 for an air source heat pump, $225 for a mini-split, $500 for a ground source heat pump, $400 for a heat pump water heater and $50 or $100 for a smart thermostat. It also lists insulation rebates up to $500 and air sealing up to $150. Several rebates have two amounts, and which one you get depends on your income.

- Install ENERGY STAR certified equipment, or hire a contractor for insulation and air sealing.
- Apply online or by mail. PPL says applications are generally due within 180 days of installation.
