SCE supplies or delivers power in San Bernardino, Ontario, Long Beach and Santa Monica, and in the part of Moreno Valley that is not served by Moreno Valley Utility. Riverside, Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena and Los Angeles run their own utilities. Check the name on your electric bill. See San Bernardino and Long Beach.
What SCE offers
Smart thermostat: a $75 bill credit for letting SCE adjust an eligible thermostat during demand response events. EV: Charge Ready Home pays up to $4,200 toward a panel upgrade for income-qualified households who install a Level 2 charger, Charge Smart pays up to $100, and SCE's marketplace gives $100 off professional charger installation. Free upgrades: Energy Savings Assistance for income-qualified customers, and Home Performance Plus for disadvantaged or low-income communities. SCE's marketplace also lists Golden State Rebates coupons, which another utility's page says have ended, so confirm before you shop. We found no SCE cash rebate for a heat pump or battery.

TECH Clean California and the federal HEEHRA program are fully reserved for single-family homes and take new requests on hold only. The federal 25C and 25D credits ended after December 31, 2025. South Coast AQMD's GO ZERO single-family rebate resumed on August 28, 2026 with limited funding, according to the City of Santa Monica, so check it directly.
