Common questions

How much is the heat pump rebate in Mississauga?

It depends on your current heating fuel. Enbridge Gas customers get up to $2,000 for an air-source heat pump or $3,000 for ground-source. If you heat with electric, oil, propane, or wood, you get up to $7,500 (air-source) or $12,000 (ground-source). This is the same structure across all of Ontario.

Is a heat pump worth it in Mississauga's winters?

Yes, as long as you get a cold-climate model, which the rebate requires anyway. Ontario winters regularly dip below -15°C, but modern cold-climate heat pumps keep working well past -25°C.
