The one concrete example we've found is Toronto Hydro, which offers a rebate for enrolling a smart Level 2 charger in its PeakSaver demand-response program — that's not a flat installation rebate, and it's Toronto-specific rather than available across Ontario utilities generally.
Do I need an electrician for a Level 2 charger in Mississauga?
Yes. A licensed electrician needs to install the dedicated circuit, and most rebate programs require a licensed install to qualify anyway.
